During the Industrial Revolution the population of England more than doubled. Birth Rates sky rockted and despite the rowed cities and insanitary work condition death rates were falling and more people were alive. The increasing number of factories meant that more and more jobs in the textile, poetry, and mine occupations were available, thus drawing in more people from around the world. The Cities became so over crowded that slums formed around the major cities with people living in close, claustrophobic environments.
