change in ideology, innovation, and diversity
Innovation was one of the main consequences of the Industrial Revolution, one of the mottos of the era was "You can create solutions to problems, one can create new means of bettering himself, his environment and his life." Great Minds such as Isambord Brunel, also known as the "Practical Prophet" created the suspension bridge, steamboats, The Great Western Railway, the Great Eastern Ship ( The Crystal Palace of the seas) There was a also the Great Exhibition of 1851, which show cased some of England's newest and most inventive technology. Factories became quicker and more efficient.
Ideology changed and spun as society and the land changed with it. The idea of feminism grew as more owmen began working, unions increased and other movements scattered around the cities. The idea of capiatism became prominent equality of women, minorities and the lower class were questioned. Socialism and communism also grew in respone to the industrialization and population diversity of England during these years. The diversity of England skyrocketed with the industrialization of the land, more and more people from around the world came to England to find jobs and a better way of life.
